What’s the story behind your name?

What types/sizes of events do you cater?

We pride ourselves on the ability to provide catering service for every kind of event: from up-scale, formal weddings for 300 and high-end corporate cocktail parties for 75, to backyard BBQs for 30 or a concession stand that will serve thousands at a public event. Other events include bridal/baby showers, graduation parties, family reunions, company outings, meetings, fundraisers and social galas, dinner parties, grand openings and product launches.

Is your fresh pasta really house-made?

Yes. All our fresh pasta is made in house, by hand, with locally sourced, free-range eggs and Tipo 00 flour.

In fact, all our food is made-to-order fresh and from scratch.

Do you charge for delivery?

We do not charge delivery for any order of $125 or more within our delivery zone.

There is a nominal charge of $7 per delivery (within our delivery zone) on orders that are less than $125. Unfortunately the high cost of gas has forced us to charge this fee in order to remain competitive.

We proudly serve: St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, Welland, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Beamsville, Port Colborne, and all areas in between.

How much notice to do you need to place an order?

We generally require 1 week, in order to plan and complete your order. Box Lunch orders require 48 hours.

We will try very hard to accommodate last minute orders whenever possible. Best to call and ask.

We are always available to cater your bereavement, memorial or funeral.

For larger events we recommend 4 weeks’ notice. For weddings we require 4 - 6 months advance notice.

Do you offer tastings for weddings?

Absolutely! We charge $35 pp (+ taxes) for a tasting menu of up to 6 items from your proposed menu for up to 8 guests. If you choose us to cater your wedding we will deduct the charge for your tasting from your final bill.

I’m on a tight budget will you work with us to plan our wedding?

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and our ability to listen and respond to our customers’ needs. Give us a call and we’ll do everything we can to work within your allowable budget. We can provide you with many options to help offset the cost of a huge, elaborate wedding and it can be every bit as special and memorable as you envisioned.

Do you have references?

We are proud to have a long list of satisfied customers and will gladly provide you with verifiable references.

What is an off-premise or off-site catering company?

Essentially it means we prepare your order in our kitchen and deliver it to your specified location. We do not offer dine-in options or in-house events at this time.

We offer drop-off and buffet-style catering. The most popular choices for many.

We also offer plated catering. This usually requires servers and on premise chef services. Usually reserved for larger corporate functions or weddings.

If you are planning a larger event and would like recommendations on a location, we‘ve partnered with several excellent venues through-out Niagara. We can help you choose the perfect location for your event.

Are you ever going to offer dine-in options?

This is one of the questions we get asked the most. We are currently looking to expand our operations so we can offer take-out and dine-in options for our customers. Do you offer school catering?

Yes! We have proudly provided healthy lunch alternatives to several schools throughout Niagara. We have customized menu options for our local schools so please contact us to discuss our "Healthy Eating" program.

Our "Healthy Eating" lunch program is 100% in compliance with the Ministry of Education’s Healthy Food for Healthy Schools Act, 2008.

Is it possible to create a custom menu?

Absolutely! The menus we have on our website are there to help guide you in setting up a well-rounded meal. We are happy to substitute, remove or add items to create the menu that will suit your taste and budget. Have a budget but not a menu in mind? Let us develop a menu for you.

What is your payment policy?

All prices as quoted + applicable tax. We accept cash, all major credit cards, PayPal and certified cheques.

For larger events we may request a booking fee, an administration fee, a contract and a deposit. For weddings, final payments are due 10 days prior to your event.

Why do you charge a booking fee?

We may charge a booking fee because it helps us recover operational, food, and staffing costs in the event of a cancellation. A booking fee also holds and guarantees your date.

Why are your prices higher than XYZ down the street?

At Zeppoli's we have a saying: "We don't compete. We create."

Our dishes are prepared with the very best locally sourced ingredients we can find. Unlike others we don't source cheap, frozen products that have been stripped of their nutrients and flavor. We do not take shortcuts with our food. That means using the best ingredients. As such our prices reflect this.

What about allergens?

Please note we are not a nut-free facility. While we take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination with nuts we recommend that people with severe nut allergies take all necessary precautions for their safety.

We gladly accommodate vegan and vegetarian options aside from those found on our menus. Please inquire to discuss your specific needs.

Do you automatically charge gratuity for large parties?

No. We do not automatically charge gratuity for any size event or order. We believe gratuities should be earned based on quality of food and service excellence. It is your choice to tip.

Do you offer personal chef services, servers and bartenders?

We sure do! Please contact us for more information. Personal chef services vary based on requirements. For servers or bartenders the fee is $35 per server per hour.

If I am hosting a party do you charge any corkage fees or cake cutting fees?

No and no. If you choose to bring your own cake or bring your own wine we do not charge any additional fees.

I need a daily/weekly home-meal solution for my family? Can you help?

Yes! We can customize meal plans to your specific needs and deliver your meal, hot and ready to serve at your specified time and date.

Do you provide rentals and other professional services?

Yes. Rentals may include tables, dinnerware, glassware, linens, tents, ovens, BBQs etc. We work with our preferred vendors, to provide you with a vast inventory of rental items.

We have also partnered with industry specialists in photography, music (DJ services and band), print solutions, lighting/staging/floral services and more, to help bring your event to life.

We can help plan your event every step of the way to make your special day as amazing and special as it should be.

Would you consider donating to our cause, fundraiser or charitable event?

We love giving back to our local community! Please make your request a minimum of 4 weeks in advance. Please note, however, while we would like to consider all requests, the needs, unfortunately, are far greater than our dedicated resources can support.

Receipts must be provided for all corporate donations (monetary or in-kind).

We also have several fundraising programs in place to help support your cause. Please contact us for details.

Vendor Inquiries & Collaborations?

We love collaborating! Please email info@zeppolis.ca to set up an appointment, if you believe your goals align with ours.

We only meet with new vendors and suppliers by appointment only. We respond to all emails within 12 hours of receipt.

Something went wrong with my order, who can I contact?

Although we strive for perfection on every order, unfortunately mistakes sometimes happen. When they do we bend over backwards to make it right. Please contact the owner, jerry@zeppolis.ca or phone direct 905-941-4957 and we will rectify the situation immediately. Our customers are our life-blood and we put your loyalty, trust and business above all else. At Zeppoli's we really do treat you like a member of our family.
